Taught painting on qualifying and later accompanied her husband to Lagos, Nigeria where she also taught and took on commissions. This was an important time in her development and the powerful forces of place, colour, texture and pattern are still evident in her work. On returning to England she moved to Yorkshire where the quality of light inspired her to change direction from painting to printmaking. Printmaking - etching, screenprinting and mixed media have given her freedom to explore these influences and allowed her to develop as an artist.
Member of the Printmakers Council and North & South Printmakers.
